Spring Alaska Custom Photo Tours
(Mid-March through Mid-May)

Depending on what month one chooses to arrive in the Spring, the Spring season in Alaska can be a great time to find good subjects for photography — the snow is melting at the lower elevations and latitudes. But at the higher elevations and higher latitudes it’s a great time to see the landscape wake up from its winter slumber. The ice begins to move, some wildlife species are birthing their young and plant life is peeping out from under their blanket of snow. The Aurora Borealis is more active during the Spring Solstice and the daylight is much longer than winter.

Below is a variety of images photographed during Alaska’s spring months and can likely be had during a custom spring Alaska photo tour.
