Scott Gomez was a rookie on the team when the New Jersey Devils won the Stanley Cup in 1999. Gomez was given a hero’s welcome when he brought the Stanley Cup to Anchorage for the first time ever.
ESPN magazine hired Jeff to follow Gomez as he took the cup to several local events including visiting hockey fans in the hospital and an outdoor city reception.
