Earlier this week, in the sub-zero cold, I was out at the Eagle River Nature Center for a couple hours. The Valley is so spectacular and diverse. The mountains are steep, rugged and awe inspiring and the stream running through it next to the trail is so very peaceful. I enjoyed my time there as I walked along the trail with only a few other people milling about. Here are a few photos from this past week.
Before the most important information in this blog post gets buried under all photos, I wanted to say that I will be giving a free slide show and talk on the Iditarod in mid-February at the Nature Center. Sunday, February 16th at 2 pm.
And later in the spring, in March, after the Iditarod, I’ll be offering a winter landscape photography workshop there! More information is to come!
Cheers!
