Last week, on my bus ride out from doing a photo workshop at the Kantishna Roadhouse, we stopped at the Eielson Visitor Center. The mountain was out, so I took the opportunity to have my photo taken next to a panoramic photo showing names of the various peaks in the Alaska Range. That panoramic photo was one that I had shot on assignment for Denali National park when they were building the new visitor center back in 2008. My old company, Alaska Stock, had the contract to provide stock photos as well as shoot some new images specifically for various interpretive signs that would go in and around the new visitor center. It was great to see the images around there and people looking at them. We also had some nice views of wildlife on the way out, including this moose that crossed the road.
