Fall is in full swing here and the night sky is back after a few months of 24-hour daylight. Winter is not too far off. I’ve been posting a lot of my recent fall landscape stuff and night stars. Just a while ago I decided to offer a one-day fall landscape and evening sky workshop at the beautiful Eagle River Nature Center, just outside Anchorage. It’s on Saturday, October 11th. I will teach about landscape composition and depth of field along with photographing the night sky (hopefully the stars will be out) as well as painting with light—- always a fun exercise. Hope some of you locals might want to join in. See more info here.
