We’re 17 days away from the Iditarod Anchorage ceremonial start day. More and more preparations are going on. Last night I photographed a pilot planning meeting. Today a group of over 40 volunteers, including a large contingent from the Alaska Military Youth Academy, helped to unload, sort, tag, stack and move thousands of musher’s food drop bags at Airland Transport in Anchorage. It was like a beehive in there today. Here are a couple images from that.
