We left Unalakleet this morning and are making our way towards the Burled Arch. This morning was a beautiful morning with the Northern Lights putting on a purple show around 7am. This was a nice warm up to another beautiful sunrise to welcome the mushers into the checkpoint. We are now in White Mountain and will be here for a few more hours and then we will head to Nome and prepare for the winner to cross the Burled Arch in Nome. Here are a couple of photographs from today.
