Now is the time to plan for a trip to the wild places of Alaska’s Denali National Park with my fall Landscape and Wildlife photo workshop happening August 15-23, 2015.
This 8 night/7 day adventure begins and ends in Anchorage. All of your transportation, accommodations and meals are included. On the drive to and from Denali, in our private, comfortable tour van, I’ll take you to some of my favorite, off the beaten path locations for unique photography opportunities.
This is not just a “tour” but a photo workshop. I will teach you methods I’ve learned in my 30+ years as a professional photographer to help you take your landscape and wildlife photography to the next level. On the way to and from Denali, experience and photograph several other unique areas I have found in over 35 years living in Alaska. Spend the first night in Anchorage, the second night at the exclusive Tonglen Lake Lodge just outside Denali Park and 4 nights in Denali. Our time in Denali is at THE best location within the park– Camp Denali. From your private cabin you’ll have a view of Mt. Denali whenever it’s out. And each day we’ll get to drive back into the park in a bus dedicated to our small group of 10. That’s not something that can be had with other lodges. On the trip back to Anchorage we’ll stay in the quaint village of Talkeetna at the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge. The last night is back in Anchorage.
I’m so excited for this photo tour, to teach you and explore the Last Frontier, and I look forward to seeing you there!
