I’m excited to have been asked to give the keynote presentation at the Midwest Sled Dog Symposium in Curtis, Michigan September 25-27th, 2015. During this two-hour presentation on Saturday evening the 26th, I will be sharing several hundred images of mushing photos during 3 segments. Of course I’ll be sharing the “back-stories” to many of my best photos from my new book “Chasing Dogs—My Adventures as the Official Photographer of Alaska’s Iditarod”. I will also share hundreds of new images from the last couple year’s Iditarod races (that are not in the book) in a fast-paced slide show, set to music, which takes the viewer from back-stage, pre-race activities, to the Anchorage start and along the entire trail to the finish in Nome. The third segment will be a show of images and talk from my experience as the official photographer of the 2014 Volga Quest sled dog race in Russia. If you’re in the Midwest, I’d love to meet you there !

One of the many images I’ll be showing and talking about from my time photographing the 2014 Volga Quest Sled Dog Race in Russia.

One of the images from my “Chasing Dogs” book that I’ll be sharing the back story about.

This image, from the 2015 Iditarod, will be one of hundreds I show during a fast-paced slide show that takes the viewer along the entire Iditarod trail from Anchorage to Nome.
