We are in Takotna for the night. Jeff just came back from an aerial shoot with Iditarod Air Force Pilot, Jerry Wortley. The hospitality in Takotna is great. The whole community gets involved in feeding the mushers and volunteers alike. This kind of hospitality is found along the whole trail but having great pie makes Takotna one of my favorites.
