What first brought you to Alaska:

I first came to Alaska because of the hunting. I enlisted in the Army for three years and had it in writing that I would be in Alaska and was at Fort Richardson.

How has Alaska captured your heart?

Alaska captured my heart because of the wilderness and the great adventures that it represented. That’s how I’ve lived my life.

Describe just one of your favorite “Best Days” or  “Most memorable experiences”  in Alaska.

My most memorable experiences in Alaska have been the last 59 years. All of it.

What in Life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is the more experiences you have, the more exciting life becomes. My life has been a great adventure beyond the end of the road.
