FOR THE LOVE OF THE DOGS, THE OTHER VOLUNTEERS AND GENERAL LOVE OF THE RACE.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

MY MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE BEING ON THE IDITAROD IS BEING ABLE TO SAVE VOLUNTEERS IN RAINY PASS FROM A POSSIBLE CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING AROUND 2003.

What do you know for sure?

THE THINGS I KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT LIFE IS SHORT. ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. AND MAKE AS MANY FRIENDS AS YOU CAN ALONG THE WAY BECAUSE YOU LEARN SO MUCH FROM EVERYONE.
